Daily practice path
A new shape each day
The daily challenge rotates through the handshapes the webcam currently supports. Use the lesson picker to revisit an earlier one. Full ASL words and moving two-hand signs will need more advanced recognition.

Ready. Best results: bright lighting, full hands in view, and a plain background.
Prototype limitations: This checks rough finger extension and hand geometry (including both hands in two-hand mode), not full American Sign Language recognition. It may mistake similar shapes, cannot accurately evaluate palm orientation or movement, and should not be used to certify a sign as linguistically correct. No webcam video is saved or transmitted by this page. Challenge completion is saved only in this browser. A network connection is required initially to load Google's MediaPipe library and hand-tracking model.
